My, my…isn’t he a handsome one? I’ve been trying to find out who this gentleman is so I can get the locket back to his “descendant”. The name inside says Snutz and a date 4-7-1901.
It’s only about an inch across when closed. The chain is broken, no clasp. I found it when I was moving from Salisbury, Maryland about three years ago.
I’ve done about as much searching as I could online for someone with that last name during that timeframe in eastern Maryland and or western Delaware and came up short. The initials on the front threw me as well.
If anyone can help identify this handsome man – I would be greatly appreciative. I would love to get this gent back into the hands of his family.
